'The Interview' won a best publicity campaign award, sure why not

LOS ANGELES — The Interview won an award Friday for best promotional campaign at the publicists awards, but unfortunately Kim Jong-un and the Guardians of Peace were not on hand to accept it.

OK, we're kidding, we're kidding — the award was in fact given to the publicity team at Sony. But one has to wonder whether the International Cinematographers Guild, which grants the annual award to top Hollywood publicity teams, would've made that choice were it not for the unspeakably destructive and publicly embarrassing cyber attack that brought the studio to its knees on account of the film.
